At MM Foods Africa, customer satisfaction is at the core of our business. We strive to provide high-quality food products to all our customers. However, due to the perishable nature of many of our goods, we have specific guidelines for refunds and returns to ensure fairness and clarity.
1. Eligibility for Returns
1.1. Damaged or Incorrect Products: Returns are accepted only for products that arrive damaged, spoiled, or incorrect (e.g., wrong item delivered).
1.2. Perishable Goods: For perishable items, any issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery for the return to be eligible.
1.3. Non-Perishable Goods: Returns for non-perishable products must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. The items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging.
2. Process for Returns and Refunds
2.1. Report the Issue: Notify us by email or phone within the specified time frame. Include:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the product (if applicable)
- A description of the issue
2.2. Approval and Instructions: Once your request is received, our team will review and, if eligible, provide further instructions for the return.
2.3. Return Shipping:
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the issue is due to our error (e.g., wrong item or damaged delivery).
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method for all returns.
2.4. Refund Processing:
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of receiving and verifying the returned item (if required).
- Refunds may exclude shipping costs unless the return is due to a mistake on our part.
3. Conditions for Non-Refundable Items
3.1. The following are non-refundable and non-returnable:
- Products not reported within the required timeframe
- Items damaged due to improper handling or storage by the customer
- Opened or partially consumed goods (unless they were defective upon arrival)
- Customized or special orders
4. International Orders
4.1. For customers outside Nigeria, customs and import duties are non-refundable.
4.2. MM Foods Africa is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or issues beyond our control.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1. Orders may be canceled before shipping for a full refund. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellations are not permitted. 5.2. For subscription-based services (if applicable), cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the next billing cycle.
