Abacha, popularly known as African Salad, is a traditional delicacy from the South-eastern part of Nigeria, made from cassava tubers that are processed, shredded and sun-dried. One rehydrated and seasoned, it becomes a savory, flavorful meal enjoyed across Nigeria and beyond. Its not your typical salad. Ingredients: 100% Sun-dried Shredded cassava (Abacha)

Direction For Use:
- Rinse Abacha briefly under running water to remove dust
- Soak in hot water for 5-10 minutes or in cold water from 15-20 minutes to soften
- Drain and set aside
- Mix with your preferred ingredients such as palm oil, ugba (oil nean), ground crayfish, pepper, onions, stock fish, cow skin (ponmo) and local spices
- Serve as a standalone meal or with toppings like garden egg leaves, fish or eggs.
